REGISTRATION
Register your items ahead of time online at http://utah.fairmanager.com/ or register in person at the Fair on the date of entry. There is no fee to enter items in the Fair.
CLASSES
CLASS 1: Adults
CLASS 2: Seniors 65+
CLASS 3: Teens 13 to 18
CLASS 4: Youth 12 and under
CLASS 5: Special Needs
All entries must remain on exhibition for the duration of the show and cannot be removed prior to Monday, August 19th.
Special Rules
All canned food must be prepared using U.S.D.A., Ball or Kerr Guidelines issued 1998 or later. Information can be obtained from USU Extension at 801 851-8479, or online.
All canning must have been done within the last year. All jars must be labeled on the bottom with name of product, date of canning, method of canning, processing time, pounds of pressure if pressure canned (altitude adjustment included in the processing time), and source of recipe (Ball, Kerr or USDA).
Exhibitor’s initials also need to be on the bottom of the jar. Only standard name brand mason jars will be accepted. All entries must have new rings and clean bottles. Mold disqualifies a product. No wax sealed glasses. Loosen rings for judging. No hot entries accepted. All entries must have been made in a home kitchen. There should be no labels or other markings on the bottle, with the exception of the exhibitor’s initials and label on the bottom of the jar.

DIVISION: HOME MADE CANDY
One 6” paper plate lined with waxed paper, foil with 8 pieces of candy (approx. 1” x 1” per piece) constitutes one entry.
No uncooked candy, popcorn or cereal type treats. No dipped candy unless designated.
